What is ABS Planter Mold?

Think of it as a cake tin — but for concrete.

An ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) planter mold is a rigid, reusable form designed specifically for casting concrete planters. Unlike cheap disposable molds made of silicone or thin plastic that warp after one use, ABS is a high-grade engineering plastic — the same material used in automotive parts, protective gear, and power tool housings.

Most high-quality ABS molds, including ours, feature a reversible or snap-button interlocking design. This means one mold set can actually create two different styles:

1. Smooth Finish — The slick interior wall creates a polished, modern look.

2. Textured Finish — The exterior pattern imprints a natural timber or stone texture into the concrete.
